I started this whilst listening to Famous Last Words by My Chemical Romance, as a drawing about me That changed when Summertime by the same band came on Music really does matter a lot when I draw, this song changed the whole idea behind this drawing, and essentially the whole visual experience that is the drawing It may not be the best drawing of all time, but I like it I'm not the best at anatomy, neither am I the worst I wasn't planning to make a Spirit Day drawing, I just didn't know what I would draw This just kind of came to represent something that I thought fit very well with the whole Spirit Day concept, and I thought I'd make it my contribution to Spirit Day, even if it's horribly late
This is for you. This is for the ones who need it, the ones who like it, you who feel it, who remember it or just simply look at it, may it be just a glance or a full out examination worthy of paintings of history, of fame and love. You may not alter this drawing, use it in any way without permission. Though, it is only yours to...experience, it is meant for you to create your own meaning, to see it in a way only you can, to make it your own in more ways than I can claim it to be mine. The drawing belongs to me purely as an object, it is gift to you as something more than that. Though you cannot claim to have made it, you can claim it means something to you. Even if it doesn't, you still have every right in the world to form your own opinion and meaning. I do not want any criticism on this piece, for I am satisfied with how it is and criticism would not help me in any way. It is simply for you to enjoy, hate, love, or not even care about. What your mind does with this piece is none of my business, though I can only hope you make the most of it.
Have a wonderful day, week, month, year, life! I wish you all the best, no matter size, color, interests, religious belief, likes and dislikes!
I've definitely said this before, but I really am jealous of the tone you have when you're writing.. You manage to say what you want, in a way that conveys just what you want it too..
to me? i see it as emptiness having nothing inside how deep down were all the same we all contain blackness we are void we are, essentially, nothing the skull and white can cover it, we can cover up our flaws, with pretty skin and pretty make up but deep down we are plain, ugly, decomposing beings so i guess, its the simplest form of humanity...
but thats just me and my morbid perspective of humanity...
Thank you
having nothing inside
how deep down were all the same
we all contain blackness
we are void
we are, essentially, nothing
the skull and white can cover it, we can cover up our flaws, with pretty skin and pretty make up
but deep down we are plain, ugly, decomposing beings
so i guess, its the simplest form of humanity...
